Margaret M. Gist, 85, of Lower Saucon Twp. died Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Blough Health Care, Bethlehem surrounded by her caring and loving daughters. She is the wife of the late Norman A. Gist (died August 31, 1988).

Born in Bethlehem on February 25, 1925 to the late Leonard M. and Mae (Apgar) Masteller. She is a member of Ebenezer New Reformed Church, Bingen; a life member of the Leithsville Volunteer Fire Company and chairman of the flower committee; VFW Post 3094, Hellertown and Past Girl Scout Leader Troop 888.

Survivors: Daughter: Margaret Ellen and Lee Buskirk, Sr. of Pen Argyl, Susan M. wife of Mark E. Dieterly of Hellertown; 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 9-10 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Church, 3221 Bingen Road, Bethlehem followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Memorial Park Cemetery, Bethlehem. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
