Emma A. (Strauss) Heintzelman, 92, formerly of Allentown died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in Manheim.

Born in Hellertown on December 9, 1917 to the late John J. and Salome (Eisenhart) Strauss. Emma worked as a Clerk for the former First National Bank, Allentown for 10 years until her retirement in 1982, while working a second job in the payroll office of Service Electric TV, Allentown for 10 years. Prior work included a supervisor at Lehigh Valley Dairy in Allentown for 14 years; also a clerk for Hess's in Allentown for 3 years; and also as a Cook in the Parkland High School Cafeteria for 3 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Millersville.

Survivors: Children: Carol A. of Lancaster, Alton A. and his wife Mary L. of Whitehall, Faye E. wife of Roger A. Herman of Allentown; 2 Grandsons: Michael C. Heintzelman and Alan R. Herman. Predeceased by seven siblings.

Services: Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown, PA 18055. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
