Harold F. Peters, 91, formerly of Neffs, died Monday, September 6, 2010 at The Phoebe Home, Inc. in Allentown, where he had been residing. He was the husband of the late Arlene R. (German) Peters.

Born in Slatington, August 5, 1919, Harold was the son of the late Albert and Mary (Kelchner) Krause. He was employed in maintenance and was a foreman for the former Wheel & Crawler & Company in Fogelsville and the former Neffs Farm Equipment for many years before retiring. Harold faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

Survivors: Son, Carlton H. Peters and his wife Roseann of Kissimmee, Florida; grandsons, Kevin and Michael Peters, both of Allentown; five great grandchildren.

Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2010 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Thomas H. Thomas officiating. Family and friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
