Gladys I. Schaller, 79, of Allentown, died Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Lehigh Center, Lower Macungie Township.

Born in Kempton, December 9, 1930, Gladys was the daughter of the late George J. and Mabel E. (Frey) Schaller. She was employed as a scheduling clerk for Mack Trucks, Inc. in Allentown, for 41 years before retiring in 1991. She was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli. Gladys was a Past Worthy Matron of the Anne Penn Allen Chapter of the Eastern Star.

Survivors: Brothers, Luther Schaller, of Coplay, Willis Schaller, of Phoenix, Arizona, Arlan Schaller, of Newark, Delaware, Kermit Schaller, of Loveland, Colorado; sisters, Hattie Smith, of Macungie, Erma Rothenberger, Esther Kelley and Viola Bartholomew, all of Allentown.

Service: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Kevin E. Fruchtl officiating. Family and friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Ebenezer Church Cemetery, New Tripoli.
