Florence M. (Holben) Baer, age 87, of Allentown PA, formerly of Whitehall PA, died Thursday, November 29, 2001 in the Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown PA. She was the Widow of the late Franklin L. Baer who died in 1977.

Born in Ironton PA, she was the Daughter of the late Preston F. and Catharine S. (Schmoyer) Holben. She was a Housekeeper for Dr. Martin K. Rothenberger for 43 years, retiring in 1978. She was a Member of St. John's United Church of Christ of Fullerton in Whitehall PA, where she was a former volunteer in the Church Kitchen and a Member of the Church Quilters group. She was also a Former Member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Royal Arch Chapter.

She is survived by her Son, Dennis L. Baer of Whitehall PA; Daughter, Lois F. Frantz of Whitehall PA; Step-Sons, Lester F. Baer of Allentown PA and Franklin C. Baer of Schnecksville PA; Sister, Esther C. Weber of Schnecksville PA and Eleanor M. Mainer of Baytown TX; 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 03, 2001 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Family and Friends may Call 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend Curtis G. Kemmerer will officiate. Interment and Graveside Service will be held 11:30 a.m. Monday in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.
