Joseph E. O. Emond, age 55 of Third Avenue, Hellertown PA, died Thursday, April 17, 2003 at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Fountain Hill PA.

Born in Lawrence MA, he was the son of Rita P. (Parent) Emond of Hellertown PA and the late Joseph W. Emond. He was a Self-Employed Independent Truck Driver for many years, until his illness. He was a Member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown PA. He was also a Member of St. Vincent DePaul Holy Name Society, at the Church.

He is survived by his Mother; and Sister, Marie E. Rockovits of Coopersburg PA.

Funeral Services will be held 9:00 a.m. Monday, April 21, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 7:00 -8:30 p.m. Sunday and 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Monday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

In lieu flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, 709 Delaware Avenue, Bethlehem PA 18015.
