Rita P. Emond, age 84, of Coopersburg PA, formerly of Hellertown PA, died Friday, August 18, 2006 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township PA.

Born in St. Andre, New Brunswick, Canada, she is the daughter of the late George and Marie (Thibodeau) Parent. Retired from AT&T in North Andover MA for 20 years, she was a Member of Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown and a Member of its Ladies Guild.

She is survived by her loving Daughter, Marie E., wife of Stephen C. Rockovits with whom she resided; 4 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her Son, Joseph E. O. Emond, 2003.

Family and Friends are invited to call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street, Hellertown and 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Monday at the Funeral Home followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at the Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. Interment at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
