Sandra J. Ebert, age 66, formerly of Catasauqua PA, died Sunday, October 29, 2006 in Country Meadows, Allentown PA, where she had been residing.

Born in Allentown PA, Sandra was the daughter of Arlene A. (Kuhns) Ebert of Allentown PA and the late Clatus W. Ebert. She graduated from Parkland High School, Class of 1958; Penn State University, in 1962 with a BS in Education; and Lehigh University, in 1967 with a MA in Education. She was a Member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catasauqua PA.

Sandra worked as an Unemployment Interviewer and Examiner for the PA Department of Labor & Industry for 19 years, retiring in 2000. Prior to that, she worked for the Department of Defense at various overseas schools from 1968 - 1978 Teaching in the Philippines, Germany, Iceland and the Portuguese Azores. Before that, she taught at South Mountain Jr. High School, Allentown from 1963 - 1968. Sandra was also a former Volunteer Tutor at Northampton Community College Adult ESL (English as a Second Language); a Member of Spot 5 (Single Professionals over 35); a Member of AOSHS (American Overseas Schools Historical Society); and a Member of the Red Hat Society, Country Meadows Chapter.

She is survived by her Mother; Sister, Cheryl A. Seagreaves and her husband Timothy of Port Charlotte FL; Niece, Christina Seagreaves of Atlanta GA; Nephew, Richard A. Seagreaves of Portland OR; and Grandnephews, Zachary A. Seagreaves and Joshua J. Seagreaves.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend Gary L. Walbert officiating. Family and Friends may call 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.
