Edward P. Jalowiecki, age 72, of Allentown PA, died Monday, January 1, 2007 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA, after being stricken in his home. He was the husband of Joanne P. Gantz-Jalowiecki. The couple celebrated their 8th Wedding Anniversary last September 19th.

Born in New Britain CT (November 1, 1934), Edward was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Jedziniak) Elewski and Step Son of the late Mary Elewski. He was the President and Co-Owner of Aledco, Inc. in Allentown since 1983.

Edward faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army during a peacetime era. He was a Member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall PA, where he served on the Usher Team. Ed was an avid golfer, participating in many summer golf leagues.

He is survived by his Wife; Son, Edward M. Jalowiecki of Astoria NY; Step Daughter, Denise R. Joyce and her husband Joseph of Quakertown PA; Step Son, Brian C. King and his wife Bevin of Macungie PA; Brother, Joseph Jalowiecki of Marathon FL; and Grandchildren, Eric, Kevin, Nicholas, Reilly, Avery and Brady.

A funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. in Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall PA, with the Reverend Michael J. Bodnyk and Vicar Donald W. Debus officiating. Family and Friends may call 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Church. Private interment will take place in the Garden of Faith. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc, Schnecksville PA.
