John L. Johnson, Jr., age 82, of New Jersey Avenue, Hellertown PA, died Sunday, December 1, 2002 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. He was the Husband of Anne (Martin) Johnson. The couple celebrated their 57th Wedding Anniversary this past February.

Born in Hellertown PA, he was the son of the late John L. Johnson Sr. and Minnie B. (Kilpatrick) Johnson. He worked in the Coke Oven Division of the Bethlehem Steel for 30 years, retiring as a Foreman in 1982. He was a Member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army Air Force, First Sergeant, having served during World War II. He was a former Bethlehem Steel Club.

He is survived by his Wife; Daughters, Judith A. Neyhart of Macungie PA and Joanne M. Mackow of East Setauket NY; and 4 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. Family and Friends may call 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
