Grammy Johnson was one of the most unique women I've ever met. The first time I met her, after traveling very far, she asked me "do you need to use the hopper?" I had no idea what the "hopper" was but afer some explaining, I quickly realized she meant the bathroom. Grammy Johnson was a no-nonsense woman with no-nonsense values. Her way was the only way in her home and I liked that very much. My daughter, Amanda, is very fortunate to have had a Great Grandmother like Grammy to touch her life.

What a kind and loving grandmother you were, some of my dearest childhood memories were the Sundays spent with you and pappy. Your home filled with the enticing smells of your wonderful cooking. Memories of you will follow me throughout my life. You will be greatly missed by many.

I was always very happy about the fact that when I married into the Johnson family I had a granmother again. Both of my granmothers past away when I was younger. I felt very fortunate to have Grammy in my life. She was a wonderful woman. I will miss her dearly.

I will never forget what a wonderful Grandmother that she was. One of my fondest memories is of the time she was holding my son Mitchel on her lap and singing to him as he gazed up at her intently listening.
Grammy, you will always be in our hearts.
