Richard R. Johanson, age 58, of Clarke Street, Hellertown PA, formerly of Aiken SC, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 in San Antonio TX while on a business trip. He was the Husband of Melody K. (Phelps) Johanson. The couple celebrated their 29th Wedding Anniversary this past May.

Born in Rio Tinto NV, he was the son of the late Ray and Mary K. (Humphrey) Johanson. He was the Lead Field Construction Manager for Bechtel Telecommunications Corp., Frederick MD for the past 30 years. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Vietnam War. He was of the Protestant Faith.

He is survived by his Wife; Son, Matthew W. Buckner of Pasadena CA; Daughters, Michelle R. Johanson of Aiken SC and Megan K. Johanson of Aiken SC; and Brother, James R. Johanson of Frederick MD.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 17, 2002 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home.
