Frances R. (Reitz) Necker, age 87, of Duncan SC, formerly of Orefield PA, died Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, Spartanburg SC. She was the wife of the late Edward H. Necker.

Born in Ironton PA, Frances was the daughter of the late Henry and Mary (Oswald) Reitz. She was employed as a Cafeteria Manager for the Mecklenburg School District in Charlotte NC for 17 years, retiring in 1980. She was a Member of Christ Lutheran Church, Charlotte NC.

She is survived by her Son, Dennis A. Necker and his wife Stella of Duncan SC; 4 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her Son, David E. Necker, 1991; and her Grandson.

Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2006 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend Michael J. Bodnyk officiating. Family and Friends may Call 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Heidelberg Union Cemetery, Slatington.
