Hermann W. "Buddy" Zimmermann, age 79, of Blush Drive, Easton PA, formerly of Branchburg NJ, died February 3, 2003 at his home. He was the husband of Alice M. (Curran) Zimmermann. The couple celebrated their 56th Wedding Anniversary last February.

Born in Elizabeth NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph and Caroline (Schmidt) Zimmermann. He was an Auditor for Defense Contract Audit Agency, Murray Hill NJ for 25 years, retiring in 1986. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy, having served during World War II. He was of the Christian Faith. He played the Bass Fiddle with the Local Elizabeth Union 151 and Plainfield Local Union 746. He taught History at the Alma White Zarapath College, Bound Brook NJ and Music privately.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Joel W. Zimmermann of Spokane WA and Jeffry Zimmermann of Allendale NJ; Daughter, Jane M., wife Robert Stirrup of Laveen AZ; Brothers, Peter L. Zimmermann of Bridgewater NJ and Frank W. Zimmermann of Goldring GA; 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter.

Funeral Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday in the Funeral Home. Interment will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2003 at the Rosedale Memorial Park, Linden NJ.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Bethlehem Township EMS, 1919 Eighth Street, Bethlehem PA 18022.
