Edna P. (Schaeffer) Zimmerman, age 85, of Kempton PA, died Monday, October 28, 2002 in the Lutheran Home of Topton, Topton PA. She was the widow of the late Paul F. Zimmerman.

Born in West Penn Township PA , she was the daughter of the late Earl and Emma M. (Blessing) Schaeffer. She was Co-Owner/Operator with her late husband of their family farm in Lynn Township for 55 years before retiring in 1989. She was a Member of the Jerusalem (Red) United Church of Christ, Kempton PA, where she was a Member of the Ladies Auxiliary, a former Choir Member, former Sunday School Teacher and former Sunday School Treasurer. She was also a Member of the Ontelaunee Lioness Club, New Tripoli PA and Member of the Blue Ridge Trail Council, Daughters of America No. 179, New Tripoli PA.

She is survived by her Son, Paul E. Zimmerman of Kempton PA; Brothers, Norman Schaeffer of New Ringgold PA and Carl Schaeffer of New Ringgold PA; Sister, Marion Smith of Coplay PA; 2 Grandsons and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 1, 2002 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Family and Friends may call 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend Larry E. Hemsely officiating. Interment in Jerusalem (Red) Church Cemetery, Kempton PA.
