Please accept my sincere sympathy in Stan's passing. I so enjoyed the time we shared when we were all together. Distance keeps me from being there, but he and all of you are in my prayers. He now joins Nickey who has waited so long for his Dad. God Bless.

Stan was a friend of mine. We knew each other since 1st grade at St. Ann's and went thru grade school and high school at Central Catholic together. We played CYO basketball, sandlot football and baseball together. We spent, or as some might say, misspent, most of our youth together. He was a true Nimrod and enjoyed nothing more than being outdoors hunting and fishing. We shot many a bird and bunny; hunted over many a dog; spent many hours on rivers, lakes, and the ocean; and wet many a line together over the years. With our group of pals and families we enjoyed many events, joyous and sad, and I will cherish memories of our times together over the last fifty plus years that would fill way too many volumes. He will be remembered as a good man. There are very few people I have met in life of which I can count that I have not only laughed with, but cried with. Most folks might say that their acquaintances are legion, but their friends are few. I count this good man as one of those few. Stan was a friend of mine.
