Paul W. Yonney, age 78, of Lower Saucon Township PA, died Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township PA. He is the husband of Pauline J. (Heft) Yonney.

Born in Lower Saucon Township (February 29, 1928), he is the son of the late William H. and Annie S. (Schultz) Yonney. Paul worked at the former Bethlehem Steel in the Blast Furnace as a Heater for 47 years, retiring in 1991. He served his country honorably during World War II in the United States Navy. He was a Member of the Hellertown Democratic Club and Silver Creek Athletic Association.

In addition to his loving Wife of 61 years, he is survived by his Sons, Richard A. and his wife Shirley D. Yonney of Lower Saucon Township PA, Ronald Yonney of Lower Saucon Township PA and Barry and his wife Brenda J. Yonney of Hellertown PA; Daughter in law, Karen A. Yonney of Hellertown PA; Brother, Walter C. Yonney of Lower Saucon Township PA; Sisters, Hilda E. Thatcher of Lower Saucon Township PA and Beatrice M. Apgar of Bethlehem PA; 6 Grandchildren, Michael A., David L., Nathan B., Julie R., Jacob A. and Jessica A.; and 2 Great Grandchildren, Dylan M. and Hannah E. He is predeceased in death by his Son, Bruce Yonney (March 27, 2004).

The service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 4, 2006 at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown, 85 Main Street, Hellertown. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown PA.
