Janice E. Sacks, age 80, wife of the late Gerald "Jerry" L.R. Sacks, formerly of Coopersburg PA and Lehighton PA, died Sunday, July 15, 2007, on what would have been their 57th Wedding Anniversary, at Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township PA. Born in Lehighton PA, December 4, 1926, she is the daughter of the late Raymond S. Larash and Helen (Holman) Larash Beers. Janice worked as a Medical Technologist at Clymer Health Clinic, Quakertown PA; St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA; Palmerton Hospital, Palmerton PA; and Lehigh University, Bethlehem PA. She was a 1948 graduate of Moravian College earning a Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology. She was a member of the former World Wide Church of God, Bethlehem PA. She is survived by her loving Daughter, Mary Beth Hughes of Easton PA; and 2 Grandchildren, Jillian of Easton PA and Ian of Willseyville NY. Family and Friends are invited to call 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown, followed by a service at 10:00 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Lehighton Cemetery, Lehighton PA. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Janice E. Sacks Memorial Fund c/o the Funeral Home, 18055.
