Shirley A. (Hausman) Bachman, age 65, of Walnutport PA, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 in her home. She was the wife of Carl E. Bachman, Sr. The couple celebrated their 47th Wedding Anniversary last July.

Born in Slatington PA, Shirley was the daughter of the late Francis P. and Verna C. (Haydt) Hausman. She was a Food Service worker at Burger King in Walnutport for 23 years, retiring in 2000 due to ill health.

She is survived by her Husband; Sons, Carl E. Bachman, Jr. of Palmerton PA and Jeffrey L. Bachman of Slatedale PA; Daughter, Tammie S. Mikolasy of Northampton PA; Brothers, Donald Hausman of New Tripoli PA, Charles Hausman of Schnecksville PA, Clark Hausman of Seemsville PA and Barry Hausman, Sr. of Walnutport PA; Sisters, Jean Smith of New Tripoli PA, Bonnie Hausman of Allentown PA, Donna Campbell of Bath PA and Sharon Mohl of Schuylkill Haven PA; 4 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2005 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Family and Friends may Call 9:30 a.m.- 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend James D. Robinson, Jr. officiating. Interment in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.
