Philip I. Cassler, age 65, of Whitehall PA, died Tuesday, May 24, 2005 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown PA. He was the husband of Janice E. (Host) Cassler. The couple celebrated their 44th Wedding Anniversary last October. Born in Allentown PA, Philip was the son of the late Philip O. and Marion (Snyder) Cassler. He was a Truck Driver for the former Hall's Motor Transit, Kutztown PA, for 24 years before retiring. He was a Member of Unity of Lehigh Valley, F.& A.M. Lodge # 283, Bethlehem PA and a Life Member of the Guthsville Rod & Gun Club, Orefield PA. He is survived by his Wife; Daughters, Loretta A., wife of Jeffery J. James of Whitehall PA, Phyllis L. Cassler and Brenda M. Cassler, both at home and Danielle J., wife of James Vaughn of Allentown PA; Sister, Mary Alice Cassler of Whitehall PA; and 4 Grandchildren, Jason K. James, Ian P. James and his fiancé Elise L. Melendez, Evan T. James and Rebecka G. Vaughn. He is predeceased in death by Son, Philip D. Cassler, 2000. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2005 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend Judith D. Venturini officiating.
