Pastor Willard E. Cassel, age 86 of Hilltop Drive, Keystone Heights Fl, died July l3, 2006 in Keystone Heights Fl. He was the husband of Esther A. Casselring Cassel.

Born in Allentown PA, he was the eighth descendant of the late Reverend Emanuel Nyce Cassel and Ida Alderfer Price Cassel. He graduated from Spring City High School, Spring City PA., Houghton College, Houghton NY, and Faith Theological Seminary, Wilmington DE. He has served six churches with the Bible Fellowship denomination including West Philadelphia, Graterford/Harleysville Circuit, Chester (now Wallingford), Easton, South Allentown and Denville N.J. His last pastorate was at Portland Baptist Church, Portland PA. where he served for 10 years, retiring in 1988. He also served as Teacher at the Berean Bible School, Allentown PA and served three years on staff at the Pinebrook Bible Conference.

In addition to his Wife of 62 years, he is survived by a Son, R. Timothy; Daughters,, Martha L. Weidner, Mary E. O'Keefe and Rachel A. Murphree; and 6 grandchildren.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday July 20, 2006 at the Calvary Bible Fellowship Church, 6782 North Main Street, Coopersburg PA 18036 with his nephew, Reverend Carl C. Cassel officiating. Family and Friends may call 12:00 Noon - 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the Church. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.
