George W. Carli, age 81, of Allentown PA, died Thursday, November 23, 2006, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. He is the husband of B. Irene (Fredericks) Carli. The couple celebrated their 52nd Wedding Anniversary last November 26th.

Born in Bessemer MI (February 22, 1925), he is the son of the late Victor and Anna (Halama) Carli. He was a Civil Structural Engineer for Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., for 30 years, retiring in 1986. He was a United States Navy veteran serving in World War II. He was a Member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield PA.

In addition to his Wife, he is survived by his Daughter, Catherine A. Tompkins of Laurys Station; Daughter, Elizabeth A., wife of Barry L. Graboski of York PA; Son, Michael A. of Catasauqua PA; Daughter, Nancy L., wife of William Donohue of Denver CO; Daughter, Christine M., wife of David Schultz of Sellersville PA; Son, Stephen D. and his wife Pia of Superior Township MI; and Grandchildren, Katie L. Lenihan, Gregory Donohue and Jason Graboski. He is predeceased in death by his Sister, Margaret Balistreri.

A Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2006 in the Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield. The Reverend Ronald J. Minner to celebrate the Mass. A Visitation period will be held 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., Wednesday in Church. Interment to follow the services at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville PA. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA, is in charge of arrangements.
