Gerald P. Oswald, age 76, of Allentown PA, formerly of Butztown Road, Bethlehem PA, died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus. He was the husband of the late Inez M. (Mertz) Oswald.

Born in Hanover Township PA, Gerald was the son of the late Fred W. and Edna M.(Lorey) Oswald. He was a Self-Employed Plumber. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his Brothers, Theodore Oswald of Slatington PA, Lewis Oswald of Colorado and Ronald Oswald of Macungie PA; Sisters, Gladys Follweiler and Lucille Oswald, both of Schnecksville PA and Phyllis Berger of Palmerton PA; and Several Nieces and Nephews.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2006 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend Dennis W. Moore officiating. Family and Friends may Call 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.
