Catherine E. (Wolst) Ortwein, age 85, of Springtown Hill Road, Hellertown PA, formerly of Leithsville Road, Hellertown PA, died Thursday, September 25, 2003 at the VNA Hospice at St. Luke's, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Widow of the late Raymond H. Ortwein, 1995.

Born in Bethlehem PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Evert) Wolst. She was a Textile Worker at various Mills in the Lehigh Valley. She was a Member of the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Bethlehem PA.

She is survived by her Sons, Raymond J. Ortwein of Hellertown PA and John S. Ortwein of Hellertown PA; Daughter, Patricia A., wife of Peter P. Marth with whom she resided; Brother, John Wolst of Hellertown PA; 7 Grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her Son, Carl A. Ortwein, 1973 and Brother, Lawrence Wolst, 1985.

Funeral Services will be held 9:15 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 419 Carlton Avenue, Bethlehem PA. The Reverend Francis P. Straka officiating. Family and Friends may call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Friday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem PA.
