Dr. Edward J. Ormanoski, age 69, of Breinigsville PA, formerly of Lehigh Parkway, Allentown PA, died Thursday, August 08, 2002 in his home. He was the Husband of Marie L. (Sznyter) Ormanoski. The couple celebrated their 39th Wedding Anniversary last October.

Born in Wilkes-Barre PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Anna (Dzugan) Ormanoski. Dr. Ormanoski was a private practice dentist in Allentown for 36 years before retiring in 1996. He received his pre-dental training at Kings College in Wilkes-Barre from 1951- 1953. He received his dental degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry in 1957. He was a Member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown PA.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during peacetime for 3 years as a Dental Officer assigned to the Strategic Air Command based in Morocco, having attained the rank of Captain. He was a Member of the Lehigh Valley Dental Society; Member of the Pennsylvania & American Dental Societies; and a 32 year member of the Lehigh Country Club, Allentown PA. He served as President of the Allentown Dental Society in 1970-1971. While a senior at Hanover Township High School in 1956, he was a Violinist with the Wilkes-Barre Symphony Orchestra. Dr. Ormanoski was an inventor who held two U.S. Patents.

He is survived by his Wife; and Daughters, Joan M., wife of Richard G. Perose of Allentown PA and Lisa M., wife of David W. Helmer of Macungie PA.

A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2002 in the Church. Family and Friends may Call 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA and 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Church. The Reverend Monsignor John P. Murphy officiating. Interment in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem PA.
