Eric J. Olson, age 35, of Coplay PA, died unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 5, 2006 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. He was the husband of Caroline (Murphy) Olson. The couple celebrated their 10th Wedding Anniversary last August.

Born in Ithaca NY, Eric was the son of Esther W. (Matson) Olson of Germansville PA and the late Richard C. Olson. He was a Material Technician at Mack Trucks, Inc., Macungie Plant for the last 7 years. Prior to that, he worked at Prudential AARP in Fogelsville PA for 8 years. Eric was a Volunteer Firefighter for the Laurys Station Volunteer Fire Co. He will always be remembered as a loving Husband and Father.

He is survived by his Wife; Mother; Daughters, Autumn N. Olson and Rachel E. Olson both at home; Sisters, Kristin M. Grantham and her husband Jason of Schnecksville PA and Keri A. Madeira and her husband Christopher of Kempton PA; Paternal Grandmother, Marion E. (VanBurger) Olson of Slatington PA; 4 Nieces and 2 Nephews.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2006 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA with the Reverend Thomas D. Baddick officiating. Family and Friends may Call 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Sunday in the Funeral Home.
