Arthur J. Schaefer, age 73, of Breinigsville PA, died Wednesday, April 27, 2005 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. He was the husband of Augusta M. 'Dale' (Daleo) Schaefer. The couple celebrated their 51st Wedding Anniversary last November.

Born in Richmond Hill NY, Arthur was the son of the late Charles and Alice (Lohrman) Schaefer. He worked as a Data Processor for various corporations in New York before retiring. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a Purple Heart Recipient. He was member of St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, Orefield PA.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Steven A. Schaefer and Timothy S. Schaefer both of Whitehall PA and Harry W. Schaefer of Easton PA; Daughter, Dale A. Schaefer of Breinigsville PA; Brother, Warren Schaefer of Toms River NJ; and 3 Grandchildren.

A Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 2, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield PA. Family and Friends may Call 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Monday in the Church. Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville PA. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
