Warren H. Sauerwine, age 81, of Slatington PA, died Saturday, August 09, 2003 in the home of his companion June D. Kern of Slatington PA. He was the Widower of the late Christine E. (Best) Sauerwine.

Born in Washington Township PA, he was the son of the late Benjamin D. and Clara (Handwerk) Sauerwine. He was Owner/Operator of Sauerwine's Auto Salvage, Washington Township, for 38 years, retiring in 1987. He was a Member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs PA. He was a Veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II.

He is survived by his Companion, June D. Kern of Slatington PA; Sons, Ronald A. Sauerwine of Slatington PA and Clay D. Sauerwine of Slatington PA; and 9 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Family and Friends may call 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Interment in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.
