Frieda E. (Mirakovits) Salgado, age 67, of Ravena Street, Bethlehem PA, died Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Widow of the late Joseph Salgado who died in 1993.

Born in Northampton PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Hedwig (Recker) Mirakovits. She was a Homemaker. She was a Member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown PA.

She is survived by her Sons, Joseph Jr. of Albany NY, Timothy S. of Allentown PA and Mark P. of Hellertown PA; Daughter, Rita E. Jackowski of Valparaiso IN; Sisters, Emma Zehl of Baltimore MD, Hedwig of Northampton PA, Theresa of Northampton PA and Mary Serensits of Northampton PA; and 5 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday, October 12, 2002 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. Family and Friends may call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Friday and 8:00 - 9:00 a.m. Saturday in the Funeral Home. Interment in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem PA.
