Sarah J. (Riegel) Thomas, age 70, of East Susquehanna Street, Allentown PA, formerly of Bethlehem PA, died Thursday, March 8, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA.

Born in Hellertown PA, August 15, 1936, she is the daughter of the late Austin and Ruth A. (Sepman) Riegel. Sarah worked at National Magnetics, Bethlehem for several years until retirement. She was a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township PA.

She is survived by her Sons, Paul R. and his wife Ella Sue of Salisbury Township PA, Robert J. of Catasauqua PA and Alan J. of Freemansburg PA; Brother, Harold R. of North Carolina; Sisters, Jennie I. Chrin of Easton PA, Ruthann Ferraira of Allentown PA and Joanne M., wife of Manuel G. Pinto of Bethlehem PA; and 2 Grandchildren. She is predeceased by her Daughter, Patricia Spear.

The service will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.
