Robert W. Decker, age 55, of Orefield PA, formerly of Laurys Station PA, died Friday, November 28, 2003 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown PA. He was the Husband of Laura J. (Lee) Decker. The couple celebrated their 21st Wedding Anniversary this past May.

Born in Nazareth PA, he was the son of William M. Decker of Bethlehem PA and the late Velma (Livengood) Decker. He was a Machinist for the Victaulic Co. of America, Easton PA for the last 5 years. Prior to that, he worked in the same capacity at Spirax Sarco, Inc. and Ingersoll-Rand, both formerly located in Allentown PA. He was a Member of the Cornerstone Church, 4333 Lime Kiln Road, Orefield PA. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard having served during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his Wife and Father; Sons, Christopher A. Decker at home and Robert D. Adams at home; Daughter, Michele L. Taylor of Las Vegas NV; and 3 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2003 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Family and Friends may Call 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Funeral Home. The Reverend Gary Riportella and the Reverend David F. Farnholtz officiating. Interment with Military Honors in Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA.
