Fred,
I had no idea Patricia was having problems with her health and was completely surprised when I received the clipping out of the Morning Call from my sister, Betty, regarding her death on February 15, 2006. I was out of town and didn't get her mailing until February 20, 2006, the day of her funeral, or I would have been there to pay my respects. Fred, I can imagine how tough it must be after 47 years of happy marriage to be without your partner. Charlotte and I will pass our 47th wedding anniversary in April and I don't know what I would do without her so I can imagine how you must feel. Sorry we haven't stayed in touch since the sale of the Keck farm, I've lost both my mother and father since then and now have 8 grandchildren of our own - no great grandchildren though. I hope your health remains good and you continue to enjoy staying in touch with family members for a long time to come. Can't help remembering us riding our bicycles together as kids, it's been a long road from there and I hope there are still a few miles left to go for both of us. Take care.

Dear Elmer and family, I want to express my absolute heartfelt sadness for your loss. It is a loss for all of us that had the privilige to know the sincere kindness and generosity of spirit that emanated from Pat. I don't think I ever met a kinder person. I will treasure the gifts she made with her own hands for the rest of my life and remember the kind lady with the big heart. God Bless you and your family.
