Joseph G. Danish, 83, formerly of New Castle, PA died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at the Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, Lower Saucon Township PA. He is the husband of the late Mary Ann (Rossi) Danish.

Born in New Castle PA, he is the son of the late John and Anna (Kicos) Danish. Joseph worked for the US Postal Service in New Castle and Bethlehem for 29 years until, in 1988. He served his country honorably during World War II in the United States Air Force. He was a Member of Notre Dame Catholic Church, Bethlehem PA. He was also a Member of the VFW Post 315, New Castle PA and the Slovak Club, New Castle PA He was a Hospital Visitor for St. Vincent de Paul Society and Choir and Usher Member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in New Castle. He was an Avid Golfer.

He is survived by his Daughters, Marcia J. wife, of Roger A. Washburn of Bethlehem PA and Karin Ann of Gulfport FL; and 2 Grandchildren, Kristin Spang and Brad.

Family and Friends are invited to call 11:30 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2006 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. Service to follow at 12:30 p.m. Interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
